04 - 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
05 - 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
06 - 1 teaspoon ground cumin
07 - 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
08 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
09 - 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
→ Decoration & Serving
10 - 1/2 cup sliced black olives (for bat eyes)
11 - 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
12 - 1 cup baby carrots
13 - 1 cup cucumber slices
14 - 2 cups tortilla chips (preferably blue corn)
15 - 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
# How To Make It:
01 - Combine black beans, minced garlic, sour cream, lime juice, cilantro, cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper in a food processor. Blend until smooth. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
02 - Transfer the dip to a large serving platter. Use a spatula to spread and mold it into bat shapes about 1/2 inch thick.
03 - Place two sliced black olives on each bat to create eyes. Optionally, add small pieces of cherry tomato or cheddar cheese into the olive centers as pupils.
04 - Position blue corn tortilla chips on each side of the bats to simulate wings on the platter.
05 - Surround the bats with baby carrots, cucumber slices, and remaining cherry tomatoes for a festive presentation.
06 - Present immediately with extra tortilla chips and vegetables for dipping.
